ABOUT DR. CHUA<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My life was affected by my family of dentists, who impacted my life from a very young age. Even during my high school years, I used to spend numerous hours in the dental office with my mother. I experienced that period where dental health could enhance the well-being, comfort, and self-esteem of a person. I was greatly impressed when I watched patients walk out in a better state. The experience made me choose to work in the science field, medicine, and eventually dentistry.

I graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry and came back to work with our family practice. The years on, I grew and managed to run the practice on my own. I continue to work very closely with my mom and have her experience and advice. In my opinion, learning is a continuous process, and thus, I take up continuing education courses after every three or four weeks. Keeping up with the times will assist me in delivering safe, updated care and also keep me enthusiastic about the future of dentistry.

I have patients of diverse backgrounds and professions as a Local Dentist. I observe people and families having diverse dental needs and objectives. I think that every patient should have their time, patience, and sincerity. Regardless of the complexity or simplicity of the visit, I pay attention to listening and getting to know what is the highest priority to each individual.

In my practice, communication is significant. I speak Tagalog, Fukienese, Mandarin, Spanish, and English. This will enable me to reach out to more individuals across the Bay Area and make the patients feel comfortable. The capability to communicate directly with patients in the language they understand creates trust and helps to make the process of dental visits less stressful. It is also a way my practice can be used to serve one of the most diverse communities in San Francisco.

Personally, I highly value prevention and health in general. I also take time to inform my patients on daily care, habits, and treatment decisions. I intend to target health care other than disease care. Patients feel more empowered and in charge of their oral health when they are informed about it. Being able to give clear explanations and honest guidance is one of the major components of my Compassionate Dental Care practice.

I am happy to provide a complete spectrum of dental services. My patients will find the same care they get during a simple cleaning and examination, as well as a case of wisdom tooth removal and high-tech care. My families have confidence in me since they are aware that I am a careful and respectful person to both adults and children. The tactic has made me popular as the Best Dentist for Families in San Francisco.

Most of my patients recommend their friends and loved ones to me, and that is a lot to me. These referrals inform me that patients are at ease, listened to, and taken care of. I really hear my patients and am concerned about their lives, not only their teeth. My patients are not only patients to me. “If I\u2019m not at work, I\u2019m out enjoying my free time with my family. I also enjoy taking care of my own health and having fun at the same time. I play tennis and love mountain biking, skiing, and coaching my two boys\u2019 soccer and basketball teams.”<\/p>\n<\/div>

Education and Experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Chua learned a lot about dentistry by watching his mom run the family practice he now manages. Beyond that his undergraduate years at UC Santa Cruz and his four years at Temple University\u2019s School of Dentistry prepared him well to take exceptional care of his patients.
